Having followed the signs for the local museum we were surprised to find that it was situated in a rather large and grand building, which I believe used to be a convent. Run by friendly people it is a nice little museum with a small shop and fantastic views of the surrounding countryside.

The ruined castle is in a small park at the top of this fascinating medieval village. It is possible to get to it by car if you wish, though I wouldn't say it's a special ruin and there are better views of the surrounding countryside from elsewhere. The walk up the narrow lanes from the town centre is very steep and cobbled.

Lene and Michael at Travel2Umbria are not only nice and kind, they also know everything about Umbria and the area around the middle of Italy. They are available for service, guidness, translation and smalltalk concerning questions about your vacation and Know-how of their knowledge about and around Umbria.
They also made it possible for us to visit them in their home, where we made pasta and dinned together. So nice ❤️
We will give Lene and Michael and Travel2Umbria our best recommendations.
Do your self the favor, visit Umbria and make it a vacation to remember by contacting travel2umbria (by Lene and Michael).
