Myself and my friend took the Ramallah and Bethlehem day tour. Firstly, following our late booking the night before the tour which turned out to be to late, Green Olive kindly offered to organise a private tour for the following day, which they did not have to.

Anas, our guide was extremely knowledgable about the history of the Palestine and the specifics of the legal and cultural situations on the ground, it was great to hear about the Israel-Palestine situation from a Palestinian perspective.

Anas was also extremely personable, despite the tour lasting from about 08:30-15:30 (I believe this would have usually ran longer however it was Eid on the day of our tour meaning that roads were less busy) there was never a lull in conversation, Anas took us to a great shawarma spot in Bethlehem away from the touristy area, after asking us what we would like to eat, and provided us with water on a hot day.

I can’t recommend this tour enough!

An interesting and informative day in Ramallah and Hebron. An amazing experience was with Yamen, the tourist guide in Ramallah, who showed us the Yasser Arafat Museum, the city and the Palestinian situation. Later we went to Hebron. Our tour guide Qadri was very knowledgeable in Hebron and allowed us to see the Ibrahimi Mosque, the tomb of the patriarchs in the two sections, and he was patient. Wise in informing us about the geopolitical situation in Hebron, and we talked with Palestinian citizens and an Israeli soldier, and the tour was a good example of the complex situation in Israel, the settlers, and the Palestinians.

We booked a trip with Dani based off finding him online and we are glad we decided to make the trip with him.

He picked us up from the bus station and proved to be a friendly bubbly and knowledgeable guide.

Hebron was an eye opening experience and we were very glad we went and got to see what people are experiencing day to day. We won't spoil it but if you have the time definitely go check it out with Dani.

We loved the little touches with the food stops and would highly recommend his service to others.

For what you pay vs doing a group tour with lots of people it's a no brainer to book a private tour with this great guide!

The tour with Hazem was incredible. He exceeded my expectations in many ways (stories on side, authentic connection to local culture and history, Feeling extremely safe even in Hebron, clean car, local food places.. etc.). I highly recommend to book a Tour with Hazem when being in Palestine!

We did the 'Introduction to Palestine: 4 Day Adventure' with Green Olive Tours.

Highly recommend this company and their tours. Our package included taking part in some of their one-day tour groups, so we saw a wide variety of places and activities offered by them, and at every stage Green Olive made it worth our time and money.

The real thing to commend are the guides, all super professional, informed, friendly and funny. Never once felt we were being rushed, often including some short detours if something caught our eye, and self-direction in terms of what shops we wanted to stop in or places to eat lunch. Nothing was too much trouble, and we were well informed all the way. If safety is a concern for you, I would also say we felt completely safe the whole time.

We stayed in a family home in Palestine as part of the package, and this too was very welcoming and comfortable.

This is a political tour, so do expect to find out in depth about the situation in Palestine from a Palestinian perspective. It may be challenging and at times include upsetting information, but that is the reality and Green Olive do not shy away from that. If you're looking to find out more about Israel/Palestine, its history, society, politics and people, then we would highly recommend!

Incredible experience!! From planning the trip to the tours and coordinating with the team, Green Olives were amazing and accommodating.

The tours provided all the relevant context of the occupation of Palestine, which is essential to understand the current situation. These were backed by facts and stories and personal experiences of the tour guides who shared how they continue to live under oppression and apartheid.

Our experience with Yamen in the west bank was incredible, as a local of Bethlehem he provided an essential personal touch to the experience. You felt you were with a local hero was committed to supporting Palestinians in need and in the refugee camps. Very positive energy and accommodating, and strong understanding of the history but also shared the small details that impact palestinian livelihood.

Alaa, who was our driver throughout the trip, was also very impressive with his history and facts. He shared his experiences which really deepens your understanding of how palestinians are living under the brutal occupation.

Overall, hats off to Green Olive tours. Their mandate in tours is very clear and plays a vital role on the question of Palestine. Their planning is flexible and seamless, they make everything easy for you from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. The staff are incredible, friendly and go above and beyond on your trip.

100% recommend and essential to experience to truly understand the truth and correct the narrative on the illegal occupation. Thank you Green Olives!! Keep doing what you are doing.

It was a wonderful experience and a dream come true to visit Hebron and the Tombs of the Patriarchs.

The visit was spoilt by very young children including little girls constantly begging. This raises concerns of child protection and child welfare. Shockingly, adults around ( shop keepers and passers by) did nothing to send the children home or to call their parents or the police.

The constant begging also creates a poor image of the town and the Palestinian governance of the region.

The other complaint is of rubbish everywhere. By contrast, Israel is generally very clean and there are no children being used by their parents as beggars.

Please deal with these issues for the sake of the children and for the future of the town.

This is a fantastic and enlightening tour for anyone yearning to understand this historical conflict. Abraham tours does a great job of giving participants of the tour viewpoints of both sides equally and fairly. While there is still so much to learn on this matter, this is a undeniably a great entry point into learning more about this challenging predicament. Don't miss it while you are in Israel!
