This place has a magnificent view of Lake Toya because of the elevation. Nice place to visit. The "TOYA" sign is cool to take pictures to prove your visit. The store also has a lot of sovereign food/snacks to buy.

This is a real highlight for the town of Toyako. Features interactive exhibits and has signs in both Japanese and English. About 300m from the waterfront and on road heading out of town towards Rusutsu.

Just outside our Lake View Toyo Nonozake Resort is this rustic building. The inside is a combination of a produce market, souvenir shop, tourist information, and toilets.
The farmer's cooperative seems alive and well. I saw the largest won bok ever. There were customers buying vegetables. Potatoes are particularly famous in this area.
It seems to manned by seniors, mostly women. One spoke English fluently and a source of information.

Scenic lakeshore walk with various sculptures dedicated to victims of volcano eruption. Within walking distance to Nishiyama Crater Walking trail, which also worth a visit.
