Although there are many places to eat here, we like to walk down to have an evening drink. Very popular and can get very busy especially at weekends. Lovely ambience.

It is a good spot for a short trip. The price is ok (3€/person + another 3€ for a audioguide, which I recommend). With a audioguide it takes about an hour to walk slowly through the remains of the fort.

We ended up visiting the museum twice as there was so much to see. Spread over two floors, the museum covers Menorca's military history, which stretches back to Roman times and earlier. It's packed full of artefacts, prints and photographs. Information panels are in English and there is an introductory video which is well worth watching. Don't miss the underground air raid shelter (we didn't spot it on our first visit). Currently the museum is open Mon-Fri from 10am-1pm although this changes soon - check the website for more information. Admission is free, although we made a donation. Military history wouldn't normally be something that would appeal to me, but there is lots more to see besides that. Well worth a visit.

The tour started at the front gate. In the off season the tours start promptly at 10:30 on Sundays. We drove to the reception area where the history of the site was presented in Spanish and English. From there we drove our cars to various sites and then walked. We saw the sea walls and the old port that provisioned the fort. Most impressive were the remains of the 8 km of tunnels dug by the Spanish and British military. Some were high and wide enough to accommodate horses. The guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. This is a good way to learn about Menorcan history during the 15 to 19C.

Lovely place to visit, full of information and detail on the British involvement in Minorca. Big square that is used for events.

There are many towers along the Menorca Coastline (all connected by Cami de Cavalls). Given its size and the walls it is an impressive tower worth seeing. There are more impressive ones especially due to their location and exposure towards the sea or shore.

This little bar is located in a cave in Cala Corb a short walk from the hotel Artiem Carlos 3. The bar / cave has been built into the face of the rock. I am not sure that it is open every night but we were given a tip from a local restaurant that it opened at 10pm the night we visited. The locals meet here to sing and play what we think were traditional folk songs? The service from the guy at the bar was friendly and he also sang a few numbers. We were the only foreigners in there but everyone was friendly. The price of the drinks were a little on the high side at é9.00 for a Sprite and a Pomada but the setting was unique and we had a very enjoyable evening and would recommend a visit.

Hidden gem in Menorca!! Filled with friendly British expats and run by one too! Got cheap strong bows, good banter, and a great game of darts! Will be back every day of our holiday :D

I spotted the beautiful harvest decorations in the door of this church on 17/10/2021. I was allowed peep in but did not stay for the service.
