- Adventure268440217212 contributionsTook the Beavers and Cubs for an overnight stay. Kids and adults had the time of our lives. I knew it would be fun. Didn’t expect it to be THAT much fun. And the main reason was because of Tyrell Staff, Alex, Kathryn and Clement, who led the kids on incredible guided tours, showed them cool fossils up close and showed them how to dig for fossils right there in the museum. Their enthusiasm and knowledge made the experience worth every penny and seared the experience into the category of unforgettable!Written 11 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Peterm5555Edmonton, Canada107 contributionsGreat view of the canyon badlands from above. There are trails into the canyon. Proper footwear and hat is recommended. Nice place to take a break too. - Liz W18 contributionsAn absolute must see, a perfect evening, the weather was warm and a bit smoky which made the crucifixion scene even more riveting. Great acting, beautiful costumes and a perfect setting. Would recommend for any Christian or anyone interested in the life of Jesus. An amazing amount of volunteers that were very helpful. Very well done. Parking was pretty painless, there are golf carts rides for those with mobility issues. We got some food from the concession but they also let you bring your own food in. Bring a cushion to sit on if you don’t like wood benches.Written 15 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 2014JandyCalgary, Canada6,949 contributionsWe visited on a lovely sunny day in February. It was late afternoon and the Hoo Doos looked lovely in the late sunshine.
It was free to park and there is a walkway that takes you up and around to look at the Hoo Doos
Enjoyed reading the information boards as we walked on the path on a pleasant winters day
Definitely worth stopping by if you are visiting the area

So fascinating to see!Written 6 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- AK8397Ontario, Canada885 contributionsIt's a church. A very small church. Only seats about 6 people. But it can be used for real events, like weddings. For some reason, it reminded me of the tiny chapels in Las Vegas where people can get married, with Elvis presiding. Worth stopping, for about 2 minutes and a selfie.Written 22 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MSutton21Brisbane Region, Australia42 contributionsFound this little brewpub gem & the range & quality of the brews were excellent! Fantastic patio where our family of 3 generations was able to enjoy a cold beverage together! - SJHOttawa226 contributionsWe went on all 3 tours and our favorite was the processing tour. We learned a lot about the functionality of the processing area.
The tour going into the mine in our opinion is not worth it. You climb a bunch of steps in the heat just to enter the very beginning of mine and not go deeper since the mine has collapsed. (We walked inside one in the maritimes.)
The train ride was worth it as it was Very authentic (loud, violent) and original although it did just go back and forth.
In one of the buildings, they had some safety posters from the old days that were both funny and interesting. We lots of pics of those!
One of the people there told interesting stories about the center from back in those says.Written 27 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You can see old telephones, washing machines and memorabilia from WWII. Old clothing is on display. There is a ballroom for larger functions [the place can be rented]. The list of restrictitons for female teachers is hilarious these days. Notebooks on the dess of children who went to school here give it a realistic touch. There is a gift shop. Entry was $9.00, all for a good cause.Written 31 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- 2014JandyCalgary, Canada6,949 contributionsWe love to stop at this viewpoint as the views are amazing.
On a clear day you can see horse thief canon and the red deer river in both directions.
There are a few benches to take in the views.
Basic washroom but we have found them to be really clean and well kept.

We were hoping to visit with grandchildren. It is a great attraction. Hope it can reopen.Written 30 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
