What travellers are saying
- hoben57Houston, TX39 contributionsNice park with ample parking. Visitor center is very interesting and staffed with friendly people. The bog exhibit was very good and educational. There's a big play area for kids and a small cafe to relax. The park is well kept, clean and worth a visit. And its free!Written 9 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JeffandLesSwansea, United Kingdom260 contributionsWent on a coach tour round the Wild Atlantic Way on Achill Island, County Mayo. What an amazing drive. The sea was wild and the roads steep. Wonderful scenery and unforgetable experience.Written 4 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- sfarlandFlagstaff, AZ12 contributionsHands down, my favorite place in Ireland. There were so many stores to visit and it was definitely a nice seashore city. I would love to visit again. The food vendors were really good as well. I want to go back and visit. It was definitely worth a full day of activities.Written 12 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Deborah LPerth, Canada37 contributionsBeautiful walk along Galway Bay. Nice and easy for my wheelchair. Lovely views. People swimming even in 10 degree November weather! Could have some shops but probably more in summer.Written 5 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lynn h10 contributionsThe acoustics are amazing and the cathedral itself is a work of art. The problem is the parking to see it as it is extremely expensive and also very limited. It is well worth a visit however. you won't need more than about 30 mins unless you want to attend a MassWritten 30 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is a very cool science/medicine section that sheds light on Ireland's contributions to science and medicine.

- AFishburnSterling, VA2 contributionsAn absolutely beautiful experience! We worked with Evelyn to book our visit during our honeymoon. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. The scones baking class is a blast - and so is getting to eat your creations with the homemade jam!
We adored our tour of the farm with Fintan and sheepdog Bailey. Fintan taught us so much about the Irish sheep farming of today while also giving us some history on how it’s changed. Bailey’s demonstration of herding was one of the most interesting things we’ve seen on our trip. We will definitely plan to return on our next trip to Ireland!!!Written 11 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. But, it really connects two areas of "attractions," the Spanish Arch/City Museum/Visitor Center area to the South with the Cathedral, to the North.
It is a very pleasant walk, with water on both sides. Very relaxing and scenic.Written 22 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
