We enjoyed the history and seeing so many cool cars. Several were limited production and so special. Loved seeing Elvis’s car with an Elvis soundtrack accompanying. Easy access by tram and great 1/2 day experience.

Beautiful historic palace situated in western Munich – the grounds are massive, while the palance itself is extraordinary. In short, definitely worth the price and visit. Can easily spend 1-2 hours in the palace itself while another 1-2 hours walking around the grounds, through the various ponds, streams, and structures around. Lots of historical info through each of the palace rooms. Minor unfortunate thing are some of the additional buildings are an extra cost, so difficlut to determine whether worth it

Could only view it from the outside. The whole area is beautiful! An oasis of calm, the place is a great spot for people watching, selfies / clicks / views and strolling.

One of the most beautiful church interiors, albeit a bit faded. Maybe its the lighting. Looks much better in photo than what you actually see.

Passed by it as we drove to the city from the airport, and could not but wonder at its size and beauty! Recollected my visit to the place the last time round.

Have a beer and vise viener and pretzel. There are lots of vegetable stands and food vendors. I enjoyed getting a few horse sausage sticks. to snack on while traveling about. I always get the white sausage Viseviner and a good beer and pretzel.

Town Hall and the square are a must see when in Munich with much history. Great building and area. The band playing in the square (piano, flute, bass) were a great touch.

This was an unexpected pleasure, I found that it was a place where you could spend many hours looking at the second floor where all the pre-1600 paintings were, they have fantastic religious pieces from 1200s through to about 1400s and then many interesting pieces by Peter Paul Ruebens and others. On the first floor (I think temporarily as the Neue Piakothek is being refurbished), they had excellent modern pieces by Van Gogh; Casper David Friederich; Monet and many others.

Excellent food that isn't too expensive in the cafe too, and one of the most impressive cake selections I've seen anywhere to have with your coffee.

However, I'm afraid you lose a star for forcing people to pay for the clockroom, the rude staff on the front desk and in the cloakroom, especially the incompetence and complaining attitude with which the cloakroom attempt to do their jobs.

My best friend and I are big Queen fans and we visited the Olympic Park mainly to see the Olympiahalle where Queen played 7 times in their career (with Freddie) It felt very special to see it but unfortunately when we visited (20th Jan 2024) we couldn't get close to it as there was building work going on. The Olympic Park is HUGE. We were only able to see a small part of it as we were time restricted due to having a large itinerary but it's a really lovely place for a walk. We also saw the TV tower and glimpsed part of the Olympic stadium itself. The park was very clean and a popular spot. It's quite far out from the city centre by public transport but I'd definitely recommend a visit!

Have been before and noticed this time not as many cars open on the floor to really get a proper look inside out. This could be a good alternative the BMW Museum itself as it's a free attraction.
