- kathryn bLutz, FL508 contributionsA must see site on your trip. Plenty of breathtaking views along your hike. Watch your step as some rocky areas get misted by the river.Written 11 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Barb R99 contributionsWhat a lovely slice of history wrapped into a fun, family experience. The family pride (5 generations) is showcased everywhere- from the stories of the bears to the museums to amazingly cleanliness and maintenance of everything. And it’s a whole lot of fun. Families with children will appreciate all the experiences included in admission price. I have a feeling we will be season pass holders next year. ( Keep in mind we are in our sixties and went with 30, 40 year old kids. And we had a blast. But can’t wait to take grandkids there!Written 16 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- PH-Travel-LoversAda, MI665 contributionsJoined about 70 other people this morning up on the mountain for Sunday church service.
Lift tickets half price when you tell them you are going to church.
We got our ticket at about 9:50.
Ride up the mountain takes about 15 minutes but had to wait in line a few. It starts at 10:00 am.
Church started at 11.
Bathrooms up top as needed.
Great views. Great message. Great experience.
Your are free to enjoy the mountain before and after the service.

Due to Covid, need to book online; may not get in if crowded. Once there you can enjoy the beauty of the Park, as well as climb the steps/boardwalk to see the Flume Gorge.Written 17 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dizzydecat5 contributionsThis attraction was a fun overall experience. The cost of admission was good considering that there isn't a strict time limit on the visit and it gives you access to the Castles, Ice Slides, tubing hill, and Mystical Forest path which is full of ice sculptures.Written 13 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Red19 contributionsIt is amazing how a natural formation really does look like an Indian Head! Another surprise in the area! Check out the historic marker as you admire the mountain.Written 9 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - siddy666Montreal, Canada323 contributionsI would rate this second best after the Hancock overlook; still superb
- Good amount of parking
- overlook not too far from parking
- shielded in case of excess sunshine or rain

If you take a steady pace and keep your eyes on your footing this is a delightful and somewhat strenuous steady climb through clusters of towering birch, ash and maple. A few minor streams bisect and parallel the trail on the lower slopes, while the upper reaches are stands of slender pines through which you thread your way to the sudden granite outcrop of Mt. Pemi and views of a vast and colorful leaf canopy stretching out to the horizons and taller mountains. 3 hours makes for an easy and memorable round trip.Written 9 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - OlaMayerNewton, MA145 contributionsBeautiful waterfall hike. Dramatic winter views. As long as the temperature is above 30 and conditions not slippery, this is unique opportunity to enjoy this beautiful place.Written 3 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - kathryn bLutz, FL508 contributionsA perfectly relaxing location for the kids to throw rocks and hopscotch locations to tidal pools. Sunning, or just listening to the water's flow---AHHH!Written 11 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
