This trip lived up to the expectation of a Carnival cruise--a party for all ages!! The excursions were interesting yet a bit expensive for the younger travelers. The food was good, especially the after 11pm pizza stations. The comedy lineup was excellent. A few guys in our party attended the mixology class and loved it. Potential improvements include more conveniently located bathrooms and additional easy to find trash receptacles. In room M222 the drapery hardware squeaked and moaned all night long when the ship was moving. This needs to be attended to for a better night's sleep.

All around had a nice trip for the price point. I will definitely look into adult only cruises and express embarkation in future.

Absolutely horrible! I can’t believe how poor food and over all atmosphere is here in the Elation. The buffet was horrible not many stations to wash your hands. Very few hand sanitizer stations. The quality of the food was poor. The atmosphere was dark and dingy. Windows are dirty and hard to see the beautiful views. Going outside, they didn’t have many spaces to sit and enjoy the view.

My husband and I enjoyed this cruise and we were treated well by all crew members. We particularly enjoyed the Serenity area at the back of the ship. The only thing we didn’t like was Bingo. On the last day at sea, we were told that there would be a $5000 jackpot. Of course everyone lined up to buy Bingo tickets. During the Bingo game we were suddenly and briefly announced that the jackpot prize was only for the person who would complete all 49 squares using the exact 49 numbers the girl, Brandi, had called out. Anyone who understands basic Probability knows that the odds of that happening were very close to zero. We instantly felt deceived. We were never told that rule in the beginning. Of course no one won the well advertised $5000 jackpot. Later one young man won the Bingo but Elation lowered the prize from $5k to $1.3k. I usually don’t like to leave negative reviews, but I want to raise awareness about this because it was unethical and deceptive advertising. Save your money and don’t fall for the $5k jackpot. No one will win that, except for the cruise line.

The customer service on this carnival elation sucks the guest services treated people like their concerns didn't matter only highlight to this cruise was the destinations. I don't usually complain but no ac in this heat, no working toilets for a day, the lack of restaurants being open or just half open in the buffet, pool closing when it's 97 degrees out. I think my cruising days are done its time for all inclusive resorts they treat their customers better.
