I am planning to book Stockholm-Helsinki on Gabriella. Looking at cabin A4TSeaside standard. Does anyone know whether the cabin comes with a hairdryer?
We are looking at the Russia and baltic sea cruise. Which city has more to offer if we want to stay over- Stockholm or copenhagen?
When do you think is better to book a Viking buffet on the way Stockholm-Helsinki, at 17.00 or 19.00?
I'm researching the Viking Baltic cruise. The itinerary appears to be exactly what we want. Our one concern is possible seasickness. Any comments about the roughness of the water, particularly the one whole day at sea, would be appreciated. Did passengers suffer? Was medication helpful? Are some parts of the ship better for avoiding seasickness? ALL comments and suggestions would be appreciated.
I am booking an overnight trip from Stockholm to Helsinki in December. Could anyone who has taken this trip tell me if it would be worth the extra money to get a cabin with a window? Will there much to see outside since it gets dark so early? Also, any recommendations for a deck on the boat as far as noise/ boat movement? I read budget and economy rooms can get rowdy. Also feeling less movement from the boat? Higher decks/lower decks? Thanks for any cabin tips and info!
