There are some good restaurants in the vicinity - they are not expensive. The hotel concierge will guide to you a few local curio shops who also sell consumables. The beach is good - very swimmable and walkable..

There is a local shopping mall about 10min drive away. Food good and if on half board you probably won't have any additional need for food etc as both breakfast and lunch are substantial buffet.

Its not close to the local market...but you can get drinks and food in the restaurant....a tusker beer outside will be around 160 shillings but in severin it'll be around 400. The beach is clean and beautiful...try the swinging bar of severin which is almost at the beach

Sorry the hotel is not close to local shops and restaurants as it is away from the main downtown,it being on the beach.

Soft drinks are a maximum of 2.00USD

Beach is good. Not full of seaweed. It is very swimmable and when the tide is gone you can walk a good distance exploring the ocean bed
