We went on the Sunrise 1 day Mt Fuji tour which was excellent and good value. The lunch was fabulous and so was our guide who caught the Shinkansen back with us and made sure we got off at the correct JR station from which we walked back to the hotel. This was easy as we could see the Tokyo tower lit up so we knew we were heading in the right direction. Breakfast at the Shiba is expensive and not worth bothering with as the 7-Eleven supermarket on the corner has fantastic fresh sandwiches and there are lots of reasonably priced restaurants and noodle places nearby. Great food at the JR train station and the Mos Burger takeaway nearby was good too.

Unfortunately we did not take the tour you are looking at. The japanican web site we found to be very helpful & easy to use. The hotel is a pickup point for most of the tours with the tour staging depot only about a ten minute walk away. This staging point has all the tours going to the different places. Some tours do not return you to your hotel but to a area close to a metro underground station. Do not be put off by this as the underground is not difficult to use as signage is also in English & the Japanese will go out of their way to assist you.

Further to the side issue about the bus shuttle - we arrived at the airport just after the last shuttle departed 5.10 pm. We caught the NEX express train to Tokyo station & then a taxi to Shiba Park hotel. The train was quicker & cheaper with the taxi fare not expensive.

As far as I can remember the full day day including bus transport to Mt Fuji, tour of Hakone and cruise on Lake Hakone on a Tall Ship, visit to the sulphur springs and Bullet Train ride back to Tokyo (costs a little extra, but well worth it) was around 12000 Yen (if I recall correctly) - but very much worth the money as we found it one of the best days out whilst in Japan, and although rainy, cold and cloudy, when we got Mt Fuji the clouds miraculously parted and the majestic beauty of Mt Fuji unfolded before us.

Also as a side note, it is worth knowing you can contact the hotel directly regarding the shuttle bus that can pick you up from the airport and take you back on departure - a great service and much cheaper than taxis.

very sorry I cant answer this but if you email the Shiba park they offered tours on behalf of tour companys and I did see trips to mount Fuji as its a popular destination ,

Also just try googling as a starter a similar trip I did was

google .japanican dot c-o-m then tokyo to mt fuji I am not allowed to put a direct link in .

but we booked via a UK company travel bag who was cheaper than local prices for some strange reason .

The one we went on included the Bullet train back to Tokyo then subway to just around corner from hotel .also included the cruise on the lake the seanery was fantastic not to be missed , and cable car up to some sulpher springs ,

The trip offered in link is same trip we did and seems expensive but it was worth it .

hope this helps a little ,
