Sorry we rented a car at the airport but the taxi from Hotel to the city was about 20 pounds. We took taxi one night to go eat.

between 20-24 lbs, depending upon time of day. it can take up to 20 min since most taxis come from the city. we did use Uber which was a little cheaper and quicker

We were there in July 2016, at that point in time the fare was between 15 and 22 pounds. Most of the taxis charged the same rate, i believe our trip to the Castle cost 14 pounds, then 18 to go to the city. It's about the same going back. We then paid 22 pounds to go from the castle to the city one night, same price returning, using a taxi that the Dalhousie attendant called for us.

It wasn't too bad, I'm not sure if the rates increased much since then.

Don't remember fee. Did walk right outside to their taxi stand across sidewalk really easy to get taxi when you arrive at airport. Arranging a driver didn't go well bcuz I had no cell phone so I was told a DRIVER could not pick me up . . .
