Fairfield Inn by Marriott Los Cabos Questions & Answers

Corona, California

I am taking my wife to the Fairfield next month, and this will be our first trip to Mexico. We will be staying 3 days.We are in our low 40's, so out of the all day night party scene now. Anything extra recommendations not already posted? Also wondering if any recommendation on getting to the hotel from the airport.

Thanks.

Cabo Airport shuttle is who we used there and back. Very reliable, and best priced.

We booked them online, they were at the airport waiting.

As far as things to do, I do recommend going to San Jose for the day, and definitely, a glass bottom boat to the Arch!

If you check out my reviews, I have several on the area.

There are purple buses that can take you from the airport to the hotel for a low cost. Warning: They move quickly, but when you see the hotel on the Left (I used my phone and had google maps pulled up), just hit a button near a door and the driver will stop (nearly immediately) and let you off.

Find this Trip Advisor Article: Cabo San Lucas: Bus between SJD and Cabo San Lucas

Things Id recommend doing: whale shark adventure through Cabo adventures (it was amazing, not sure if it is in season anymore), scuba diving - they have a beginners course where you go out with guides (also through cabo adventures), and make sure to take a snorkeling catamaran around the coast. The snorkeling is cheap and amazing.

Also - near to this hotel is a little dive restaurant called One and Only Taco. Go there, get as many smoked marlin tacos as you think your body can handle, and enjoy this. If I miss one thing about Cabo it is those tacos, and I have no way to recreate them. The restaurant is a 5-8 minute walk from the hotel.
