As there are more than one restaurants at Holmes Lacy can you choose which one to dine in or does it depend on which bedroom type you are staying in
There are two restaurants and as we had had a bad experience in the large one, we asked if we could go in the Bistro, this was arranged when we booked. You cannot swap at will, you are either in one or the other for the duration.
I believe you are allocated a restaurant and table. That table is yours for the duration of your stay. Hope this helps
Sorry for any delay in getting back to you. We understand that you can choose to eat in any of the restaurants. We picked the Courtyard Bistro, this was smaller and appeared to be a little quieter. It suited us. We would suggest that you look at all 3 and you can then judge for yourself. Hope this helps.
Noticed a comment made that suggested all menu's in all 3 restaurants the same.On the one occasion we paid a supplement to seat in the one reserved for historic room guests we were offered an upgraded menu at least when we used it admittedly some years back.
Choose from two.Our preference the Bistro.Smaller and lighter than the other.Another restaurant is reserved for historic room guests but can be booked for a supplement.
We was in the Courtyard Bistro, wasn’t great, people sat next to us had to get up every time we wanted to get up. The waiter struggled to reach us, because of the poor seating. This is the worst Warners we have stayed in. Due to poor customer service we have cancelled all our bookings for 2018. Read Trip Advisor on our reviews.
There are 3 restaurants--all slightly different ambience--you can choose which you prefer-or change each night. All offer the same menu.
I’m not sure. We were allocated to the larger one but I asked in the dining room if we could change to the smaller one and they gave us a table with no problems. When you arrive you can go and look at both before you make the choice
Hi there 3 restaurants which one you dine at depends on your room number they all very good
Hi, we did get a choice when we first started going to Holme Lacy but now we just go the oak panelled room and are given a table in there as that is the one we prefer. Food is same in both.
Yes, there are two restaurants as the previous answer has said. We were in the Bremner, because we were a large coach party, I'm not sure what the options are regarding in which you would prefer to eat, but I'm sure the staff would be happy to help. On the face of it there seems little reason to restrict your choice if the menus and food choices are the same. Both are waiter service.
The Bremner rest.is a big restaurant and can be quite noisy usually the coach parties are in here so you get large groups.
The courtyard is a lot smaller and we allways choose this one although the service and menus are the same .When we have gone to book our table we have always asked for the Courtyard. They do change the way they do things.
Oh... and I always book an OH Historic Large Room with Views .... but it doesn’t effect the dining area.... that’s a separate choice...!
The Bremner is the original internal main are....mainly self serve although you have a choice from kitchen....The Orchard is an extension to the Bremner and overlooks the hotel front.... the Courtyard Bistro is their waiter service area “fine dining” is their term..!
The menu appears to be the same whichever you choose...!
I had 3 main courses and 2 breakfast courses waiter service and I used the Bremner room!
Make your choice on booking or on arrival...!
