Not sure what Lisa C is referring to, but we were there in May and had toiletries and all the little extras I would have expected (and some I didn't - sherry in a decanter!).

The hotel is a few minutes walk from Haworth main street and there are several places to eat, so not to worry. The hotel restaurant is excellent too.

Yes there are a few Pubs about 5/10 minutes walk away in the village, but it is not the hive of activity even on a summers evening. We have stayed at Ashmont many times, but only had Dinner once. We found it rather pricey and lacking in atmosphere as there were only another couple in the Dinning Room. Also we were not struck with the menu

We always go to the Old White Lion Hotel - a pub realy, and have always enjoyed it and they always have a good selection of beers and wine and the menue features many local dishes - the steak and ale pie is best for me - my wife is gluten free and they cater for her very well.

We like Ashmount for a relaxing stay and if it is nice the gardens are good. The breakfast is very good and fresh.

The hotel as a small restaurant itself with lovely food. Within 5 - 10 minutes walk is the Main Street there are plenty of pubs that serve food and other places to eat.

There are about 4 places to eat,one we went to was great, but only small, so booking is a must it's a small Italian restaurant, cannot remember it's name "Sorry" quite a strange name. It was in the centre of the village.

Lots of Pubs in the pretty Main Street (5 mins away) - ideal hotel for wandering. The hotel restaurant is fab, so you could wander, then home for tea :-)

Sorry this is probably too late for you now. Haworth is full of great places to eat all within easy distance of the Ashmount. Old White Lion probably the best of the pubs for food but good cafes too

Hi sorry for the delay in responding.

There are a few places to eat within walking distance but they are mostly on Haworth high street. The hotel itself is on a hill, so you would need to walk up the hill to the high street (which is on an extremely steep hill), it's a 5-10 minute walk.

The only downside to the restaurants is that some of them seem to only be open on certain days, so we never got to experience any of the nice ones that are on trip advisor.

Thanks

You can walk into haworth village in about 20 minutes and there are lots of gastro-pubs and a couple of restaurants around, beware we went on weekdays and by 10 pm most places were closing so don't be too late.

Hi, Ashmount is lovely.

It's not as nice as when we went a few years ago.

It is pricey and you don't get the little extras you would expect for a 5 star, like toiletries!!

It's around a 5 minute walk onto the cobbled street and there are several places to eat including an Indian.
