I was looking for the type of bed in a triple room/family style room...are they double? queen? king? thank you. (I couldnt find the info on your web site)
I don't remember whether the beds were queen or double. It seems like they were queen because we had so much room, however, we found queen beds were not the norm in Ireland like they are in the US. Most beds were doubles and often a fold out couch was the '3rd bed.'
We had a triple, my brother, his wife and I, which we enjoyed immensely. Our room was large and warm-feeling with 2 beds and a sitting area overlooking the church. We loved waking up to the steeple bells, a pleasant experience. The Old Ground was our favorite hotel stay while touring Ireland.
I stayed with a hen party (about 26 of us) most rooms had either 2 doubles in them or a double and a single.
