To answer the question about suitability for kids, the answer would be yes, BUT, it is a higher end restaurant with white tablecloths and candles, so it's not a kid place if you have small children that will be disruptive. We have eaten there when families had older children that were well behaved; smaller children would be out of the norm, in my experience. The tables are close together, and it's an intimate atmosphere suitable for a nice dining experience. I have never seen a kids menu, but there may be one available.
