I've just read your review. We are due here on 15th August for a week's holiday. Is it really as bad as you day? Really starting to feel anxious.
Save your money and go elsewhere, fine if you want a hotel run by inexperienced students cats roaming the restaurant wasps constantly around the eating areas no locks on the toilets filfy cutlery plates food poor dirty glasses water dripping into the restaurant cracked tiles in dining room poor tea urn with wet leads ripped sofas lack of toilet paper ripped carpet up stairs loose safety plugs dirty outside grass area with glasses left for days attracting wasps etc no safety documentation when taking out canoes etc cracked dirty pool not cleaned daily efficiently-we had a upgraded room but unfortunately plugs didn't work tiles dirty and generally very very basic-cancel now I plead with you!
I think it's lovely there. It's not big and flashy like some of their newer resorts - it's one of their oldest and the Hotel is charming and Corsican. It wasn't dirty at all, the setting is great, the staff are fabulous and you can pick and choose how active or relaxed you want to be. We had a super time and you can too.
I went in June for a week and had a lovely time. All the staff were friendly and although I didn't try any of the wine I felt the food there was delicious. I decided to pay extra for an upgraded room and was so happy with the standard. I didn't have any complaints but as all the staff were so approachable if you have any concerns you could ask the staff for help and I'm sure they'll do their best to make your holiday great. I didn't try any of the tennis or cycling but the waterfront team were great and there were plenty of boats and activities. It's like other people have said above, go with an open mind and I'm sure you'll have a great holiday. Hope this has put your mind at ease, have a great time!
Hi, everything I said was true and my experience.....but we still had a good holiday and I am sure you will too. Just go with an open mind and a fun outlook.
I just feel MW need to know and address the short comings of this resort. We all work hard and look forward to a bit of a break and a bit of something special when we pay good money to go away so in this regard it didn't fulfil that. But like most things in life, it's what you make it! Have a good break! If you like white wine stick to the fizz, same price and the best tasting!
As an adult who has experienced many resorts and hotels I notice different standards. For the price and reputation of MW this resort fell short. But you are no doubt going with children who will have a great time. Just beware of the captive market prices.Staff are good as is food.
