I have done the Camino de Santiago and the Way of St. Francis I am now considering doing the Geneva Way. I would like to know how it compares to the first two in difficulty, weather and accommodations. One thing that I found helpful on the Camino de Santiago was that most hotels would do laundry, in Italy this was not the case. this meant I needed to take rest days to find laundromats. On Geneva Way do hotels offer this service?
Hi, the Geneva Way would be more similar to the St Francis Way in that sense, most accommodation options are family-run guesthouses as opposed to hostels like the French Way for instance. It is very well marked however it is very quiet, so it would be similar again to the St Francis Way. It won't be as challenging as the St Francis way in terms of terrain. Between May and September would be the best time to travel. I hope this helps! Please let our Customer Care team know if you require any further information or assistance. Kind regards.
