If you are fit it should take about 35 minutes. Some parts are steep but doable if you area semi active person
sorry for the delay. If you are fit around 35 minutes.
it's very step in sections. we are fit walkers and it took 1.5 hours at a good pace. you need to be ok with heights. it's misleading if your thinking it's steps all the way. it's more a track and going up you will need to be on your knees at some point. as above take plenty of water if it's a warm day.
Depending on you fitness if you just walk one hour if you take in the scenes......as long as you like
We walked down, caught te cable car up and walked down! It took us 1.5 hrs but i was a bit slow! It is well worth the effort tho. We did meet people walking/climbing up but with my knees im glad i didnt opt to do it that way! Have a great time, you'll enjoy it i'm sure!
It depends on how fit you are, ages of the people walking up them, and if you want to enjoy the views. We walked up the adventurous trail with three kids aged 8-11 and it took six hours to complete the rock, but it was worth it.
Take plenty of water (several litres), set off at 9:30 from the south side of the rock and buy the ticket that allows you to see the gun batteries and tunnels. I also recommend visiting the new suspension bridge that the Royal Anglians constructed as it's a brilliant piece of engineering.
