Hi, I plan to stay with yourselves in November. I am flying into Ciampino airport.

What are my transfer options from airport to hotel and prices?

Dear John,

from Ciampino the cheapest option is the bus which takes you to Termini train station in 40 minutes. From there you can walk to the hotel in 10 minutes.

We hope to welcome you soon!

Kindest regards

There are plenty of busses from Ciampino airport and they are the cheapest option at around €5 each way. They go to the Termini central train station and from there you can walk to the hotel, which takes about 10-15 minutes. Alternatively get a taxi for this last bit, which would only take a few minutes.

With the bus/coach it's easy as the hotel is located around 8 minutes walk from the main Termini train station in Rome where all busses, coaches and trains arrive.

So just take any of the several companies of shuttle bus (ATRAL, Terravision, SitShuttle) which connect Ciampino airport and Termini station. When you are at Termini station you can walk to hotel. If you are in more than three i would sdvise a pre-booked taxi.

We got a bus outside the airport, it takes you to the termini in Rome which is about 20 mins walk to the hotel, cost was 6 euros each , easy transfer yet someone in the hotel told me that he'd paid 200 euros for a taxi for 4.

I'm not tight but the bus was so easy to use.

I booked via a company called Welcome Pick Ups on line in advance; they charged the same price as a taxi but the driver was waiting in the arrivals with a name board. Great service.

You can get a taxi outside, or get a bus; not sure about trains.

If there are three or four people a taxi cost works well.
