Hi Justyna,

The Northern Lights can potentially be seen anytime when it's dark at night. Northern Lights happen in space and are unrelated to the temperature on Earth. September can also offer relatively pleasant temperatures, if you are looking for a "warm" experience. "Warm" by Norwegian standards.

Tromsø's night sky is dark enough from around early September to around early April.

It is best to come Mid September until the end of March. By then, you'd have higher probabilities of seeing it.
