We will be staying at Jerichos guest house end of Sept and looking for nice restaurant to celebrate 60th birthday on Sun 24th evening, is it far to walk?
Jericho's is in Windermere but easily walkable down the hill to us in around 10/15 mins. A local taxi company can take you back up it won't cost more than £5.00. Unfortunately we are not open on Sunday evenings. Sunday opening is 12-6.
It is a decent walk -probably about 15mins I'd think - as Porto is actually in Bowness on Windermere. It would be all up hill on the way back though! The food in Porto was truly stunning and it is well worth a visit. It isn't hugely upmarket in the interior, but neat, clean and modern.
Easy to walk to, but suggest you treat yourself after a lovely meal and get a taxi back. Fares very reasonable. Think you may have to eat early as they close early on a Sunday night 6 ish I think, so eat early and enjoy!
