What is the travel time from Red Square to Ramada Moscow domodedovo? Is it appropriate for a single female adult? What is the best mode of transportation for a single female to get from a hotel near Red Square to Ramada Moscow Domodedovo?
Good afternoon. You may take a hotel shattle bus, get till the DME and there take a train to Paveletskiya railway station. then by the metro go 2 station and go up. This way without traffics and takes a little more then 1 hour.
another way: to take a bus till Domodedovskaya metro rtation (30-35 min in yje way) and then by metro (30-35 min). The busstop is in 5 min by walk from the Ramada hotel.
PLease, fll free to contact with Ramada team in any case.
Authorized taxi, just in case, better if booked directly from the hotel
Best is to take metro and train to DME and free hotel shuttle to Ramada. This is the most predictable means of transportation in time (all in all less than 2 hours) and cost. It is also safe. Alternative is ordering Uber, may depending on traffic be only slightly more expensive but saves from finding your way and changing from metro to train. Ordinary taxi is more expensive but also normally not more than $30. But avoid rush hour - took me 3 1/2 hours by car once; actually the reason why I stayed at the Ramada... (missed my flight).
I do not remember exactly how we got a shuttle from our hotel to the Ramada Hotel at the airport but it was safe and simple. Key word was SIMPLE. It took probable 30 min +/- to get to the Ramada at the airport. Do not remember the cost but was not expensive. Check with hotel for shuttle.
You will spend about 90 min probably few more minutes, the best choice is by metro and then train; both are very good/ safe options for you
Oops I forgot the travel time:
Shuttle is about 10-15 minutes.
Train is about 60-75 minutes.
Metro would be about 15 minutes.
Take the free shuttle to the airport. From the airport you can take the train to paveltsky station. ( I think it was about $15 USD each way). Then take the metro. It should be safe. Hopefully you are only staying here for a night because of transit. It is not near the center at all.
Unfortunately I cant give you accurate answers except that I guess SVO would be the closer airport to the City / Red Square. I was travelling from the opposite direction so DME was the nearer airport for me. I don't believe there are many issues with the licensed taxi services but the cost from either would not be cheap from my experience. It should only take an hour or so from either airport I guess but traffic conditions ( and driving) can be a nightmare.
