Hi what tour operator did you go on as it looks like most trips only spend 3 hours in kuranda,,thankyou.
Looks like you got lots of answers. I booked through Trip Advisor. Recommend that as it included ride to/from train and Skyrail. I think the vendor was Down Under Tours.
We didn’t use a tour company. Once you get to the top of the mountain it is the Kurunda Village. Tourist shops and some food options. There was a nice butterfly sanctuary, a bit over priced but we enjoyed it. We then took the train back to Cairns. In all we spent about 6 hours on the trip, self guided. Hope that helps:)
I didn't use a tour operator, you don't need one.
I booked through Trip Advisor/Viator. It was kinda nice because they shuttled us from the hotel and back again.
No need for tour operator, you can book online go to skyrail website, in kuranda you can explore places by yourself
The Skyrail and Kuranda train are sole providers of this service. The train goes up and returns at set times, you'll find the schedule on the website. The skyrail leaves every 15 minutes at each end. You can go up when it opens at 9 and return from Kuranda at 5, so you can spend the entire day there. Going one way with the train, and the other with the skyrail is the go though :)
