I will be staying at the Radisson next month for two nights. I'm vegan, with a dairy allergy, so dining is always a concern when I travel. Is there a way to get a copy of the menu for the onsite restaurant? Is there a concierge to assist with other restaurant recommendations? Lastly, I was told that tourists can't drink the water there. Is that true?
Actually water is completely safe, its one of the best world wide, the reception guys were really helpful in suggesting nice dining places, I didn’t dine over there in the hotel itself, so no info regarding that
It will not be an issue in Raddison. Check their site or drop an email to their care desk (check site). Water is no issue in Budapest.
I am not a vegan, so I can't reliably answer the question on this point. However, I have no doubt that they will cater for a vegan's needs. Regarding a menu in advance, contact the Hotel and request one, telling them about your specific needs. I am sure they will respond satisfactorily.
You will have no problem with drinking water in Budapest. The tap water there is not only safe for drinking, but is very fresh tasting and clean.
Contact the Hotel, and they will give you their email address.
The rooms are air conditioned very efficiently.
You will be very likely able to move in to your room around noon, however, if they had a full house the night before and are unable to give you your room until 2.00pm, they will be happy to take care of your luggage until your room is ready.
You have chosen well to stay at the Raddison Beke, it is extremely well located and their staff are very pleasant and courteous.
We drank the water and had no concerns or problems. Tap water at the motels in Budapest is supposed to be fine. They do have a concierge at the desk who was very helpful in scheduling our visit to the hot baths!

Buy a large bottles of water from the nearby Spar for all uses.
Have the windows opened if the place is musty.
Wishing you wonderful travels. The Blu's staff is so very helpful and informative. I can't add much to what has already been said as to the menu. They provided bottled water, so other than brushing my teeth, I never really experienced the tap water directly. If you are concerned, I am sure that they will provide you with additional bottled water. Again, enjoy beautiful Budapest!
This is the best organized hotel I've stayed in. yes, they have a Concierge service that is ready and willing to help with everything you need. very, very professional.
the hotel has two Restaurants - one a small Michelin starred restaurant and a larger one which shares the same kitchen and is equally good. They can accomodate most dietary needs.
The tap water was fines to drink but bottled water is available or directly across the street is a small variety store where you can buy your own.
A great hotel!
Yes there is a menu available before you arrive, please see the link below. Oops, not allowed to insert link. This also give very good, clear guidelines for vegetarian (and some vegan) dishes.
If you go to the Radisson Blu hotel site directly, then click on Restaurants, then onto the restaurant menu you will be able to view this online.
There is a concierge service in the hotel to recommend other nearby hotels.
As to drinking the water, I am the worst possible person to ask this question of! I generally buy bottled water wherever I travel. So I cannot answer that one for you, sorry!
I hope you enjoy the hotel and Budapest?
