I've searched the Arboretum site and can't find any mention of a sky-walk that encircles much of the park. One of the visitor reviews refers to it. What was he talking about?
There is an inside upstairs area but it does not encircle the park. The upstairs portion is only housed within the arboretum.
Even my 2 dogs couldn't sniff out a skywalk anywhere around the Are.
I don't think there is one. If there is one, it would be sev eral miles long and visible from space (???)
Seriously, this place is huge. No skywalk here
Must have been on drugs. I don't think there is one.
I haven't seen skywalk at United States National Arboretum but there is one in England. Maybe there is misunderstanding?
I didn't see a sky-walk when I last went to the Arboretum. If you google the Park, you will realize that it is such a large garden. The best time to visit is in the spring, when the azaleas are in bloom- especially after seeing the cherry blossoms in the Independence Mall in downtown DC. You do not need the sky-walk to appreciate the Arboretum's beauty; you just need to walk through the glorious array of flowering azeleas to appreciate the colors and beauty.
