I am coming on the 7 th March, from which side must I enter the hotel.I have been to the Indra square so many times but I don't notice the entrance to the hotel as I am not a hotel guest at that time. Can any body give me the instuction to enter the hotel as I have to come by taxi.
Coming by Taxi from the airport (both airports) to the Indra main entrance requires a D tour (since Rachaprarop road is a one way street) which at rush hour may take extra 15 minutes. personally, comming from Suvarnabumi I prefer taking the City line Sky train (NOT the Airport Link as it doesn't stop at Rachaprarop station) get of at Rachaprarop station and walk the 200 meters. In this case I use the back entrance through the Indra square (under the foot bridge) or alternatively you may enter via the McDonald's back door.
Another way is tell the taxi to stop at the Rachaprarop Sky Train station (from Rama IV exist to Rachaprarop , turn left and stop under the Sky train bridge) and walk. if you dont like to walk let the taxi make the long D tour via Payathai, Petchburi and come on Rachaprarope from the opposite side. just before the hotel there is a small left turn to a roundabout which leads to the Indra main entrance.
The entrance to the hotel is as you enter the square.. if you look to the right there is a Starbucks coffee shop, the entrance is just next to that. There is also a little tour desk just outside the main entrance.. next You walk inside, go to the lift, and reception is on level 4.
Enjoy your time at the Indra ..
There will be no problem for taxi drivers they all know where the Indra Regent Hotel is located.
From airport, usually the taxi will need to go a big round in circle and reach the front entrance of roundabout. Taxi unable to stop at sides or backdoor of the hotel due congested traffic around there. If Taxi coming from Platinum mall side, then automatically will go to the round about in front of the hotel.
A taxi will know where to drop you off as it is very well known.Indra square
Taxi will know the entrance. No worries.
