Pan Pacific Singapore Questions & Answers

Sydney, Australia

We are booked for 5 nights from 22 Sept in Panorama room type. I've just realised that the hotel seems to have glass lifts from photos on trip advisor and I don't deal with heights like that well. Are there internal lifts as well does anyone know? Any news on the pool being re-opened yet? Thank you.

We are currently at the hotel....all lifts are glass.I also dislike heights so faced the door and no proble.

Pool is open and very inviting.

Enjoy your stay.

Isn't any. Just look at the lift doors and you will be fine.

All the lifts we used had glass outer walls but not on the door wall - hope that helps.

Hi. The lifts internally are also glass and face into an open atrium inside the hotel.

If you have an issue with heights, you could simply face the doors. Only half of the life has Windows.

Also, they move very slowly, so you'll not get vertigo from fast movements.

Hey there. Glass lifts on outside of building go to exec floors. I'm with you. I don't necessarily like the ride in the lifts as we always stay exec floor. The exec lounge which is beautiful is also on top floor of hotel so if you have access, you cannot avoid that one.

For all lower floors not on exec level, lifts are internal. They are still glass but you are going up the inside of the hotel lobby etc.

Thanks Keith. Good tip. Not too fond of the whole atrium thing either but will do my best to ignore the height!
