How much time should I set aside to be there?
It depends on your interests, we were lucky to have a personal guide and spent over 2 hours. Lovely cafe and shop so I would allow for 3 hours.
I agree with opera that two to three hours would be a good guideline.
At least 2 to 3 hours. There is plenty to see.
At least 2hours. There's an excellent cafe for a coffee or lunch break, so it could comfortably stretch to 3 hours.
We spent over 4 hours
Depends on how much you are into local history. The exhibits are well displayed with lots to read. If you have children then be sure they visit the spiral wall mural nature hike and take time to sit on the floor and gaze up at the amazing sights and sounds. There are two floors a bistro to rest. One thing I will add. We were both very cold in the building as it was in the high 80s while we there so bring sweater, enjoy
depending on your interests and the exhibits, I would allow 3-4 hours minimum. my time flew when I was there
A couple of hours should do it.
I spent 2 hours in the Museum. But it deppends in you, if you are into the Singapore history you can set more than 2 hours..
at least two hours, if you hire the personal guide, you should spare time at least three hours because the guy whom I had as a group guide, he's so great, he told us both good and bad things about Singapore. which I really thought it's helpful and sincere. :-)
I agree with most comments, between 2- 3 hours should be enough.
About 2-3 hours will be sufficient. Not only enjoy the museum, but also you can enjoy the foods and beverages in the lovely cafe.
We spent an afternoon (from about 1 - 4) enjoying the exhibits at the museum and could have spent longer...We found that the afternoon was a good time to go as the museum was cool while the temperature outside was in the low 90's.
About 2 hours, maybe a little more. We went around it on our own and leaned a lot, but in hindsight I think a guided tour would be even more beneficial.
It will depend on your interests - but 2-3 hours should be enough for most .
2 to 3 hours should be sufficient, the kids may want to spend more time on some of the exhibits.
