Hi there, I am looking at booking a vacation for June and staying at LRM with my husband and daughter who will be 22 months come time of travel. I was just wanting some advice on what there is for the kids to do. My husband was a little unsure on choice of destination initially and was unsure if it was a great choice with kids. He is coming round to the idea more so now so I'd appreciate any help/advice on what the place is like for families with young kids and what there is both within and outwith the hotel for little ones. I have only been to Dubai once myself (not staying at LRM) and this was 14 years ago so I know the place will be massively different from the last time. As I say any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!!
In my honest opinion, I wouldn't take a 22 month old child to Dubai in July. We once went in that month and the heat was sometimes unbearable.... you couldn't even walk poolside due to the tiles burning the underside of your feet !! Further, as for things to do, apart from a few waterparks, the hotel pool and play area, (and as our daughter was 10 the first time we went), I'm struggling to think of anything geared to a child so young, sorry. Personally, I would save the Dubai experience for the family for a few years time to really enjoy it to the max. Apologies I couldn't be more helpful.
The hotel offers childrens clubs and activities to keep the children active and involved. But not too sure about out of the hotel unless you are visiting places like the aquarium or the water parks where you as the parent will be in charge. Also as your child is only 22 months old , the hotel also offers a baby sitting service but check the prices. Do take note that it is very hot there in June , July and August.
