Was the pool crowded when you were there, or was it comfortable? The grounds of this hotel sure look nice?
There are 3 pools plus the pool at the Spa (not including a few rooms that have private pools). I found the main pool to be a little crowed at times with kids ... but last year they built an Adult pool that really helps. A lot less crowded and a little quieter. Note also that there is a kids pool for the young ones to splash about. Overall the pool areas are kept pretty nice ... only wish that the main restroom for the pool was a little closer as it is a good walk (behind the Jack Rabbit Grill) ...
The pool was large and busy but not crowded, there were plenty of open lounge chairs even on a busy 95 degree Sunday afternoon.
The grounds are fabulous and well maintained by a friendly staff.
The pool area gets a little crowded, but nothing crazy and never the actual pool itself. We were always able to get chairs next to each other for our family of 5. It's a beautiful resort with the most incredible service. You won't be disappointed.
The pool was a little busier after meetings ended about 4 however it was not crowded by any means. Keep in mind it was Mon-Thursday so I can't speak for the weekend. Hope that helps.
There are 2 pools at Camelback Inn. One at the Spa and one large one with a small kids pool next to it. Yes it gets crowded but I can't say it was ever a problem. Sure there are a few private "pool rooms" if you want to pay for it.
We were there with a group of about twenty people and we were the only ones at the pool at that time. We were there in December and are from northern New England so it was warm for us but probably too cool for locals to swim. We were in shirt sleeves at the zoo and I saw other people in parkas. LOL!
And yes the grounds are beautiful. Meticulously cared for daily.
The pool area is really big. A smaller 3 lane lap pool area is roped off. Also an adult pool area down a short set of stairs. Lounger cover type towels are available as well as pool towels. You will want to make sure you secure one of the umbrellas for the hot sun there. Pool bar and lunch service is pretty good too. The area has entrances from 3 different sides. Lounges we saw were all in good shape.
The pool was not crowded while we were there.
We only went to use the hot tub at night and it wasn't crowded (although it was a mess and not a towel to be found anywhere)
We were there during the "cooler" days, but even so, I don't think you would ever find the pools to bee too crowded. There is a separate pool for kids, so that should help. Lots of lounge chairs available too.
