What local attractions are there walking or bus distance from this hotel?
Is there typical British Seaside things such as arcades?
The harbour shops and restaurants are all within a ten minute walk from the B&B, but there is a hill to walk. The town does not have arcades, you will need to go to Newquay for arcades etc.
Padstow has numerous cafes and restaurants, art galleries, boat trips, cycle trail and coastal walking trail, as well as an Elizabethan Manor House and the National Lobster Hatchery.
Newquay is 14 miles down the coast and there are buses, which will take you along the coast road through many villages and bays.
Hope this helps.
No arcades at all. It is a picturesque fishing village with a small harbour and shops surrounding it.
You can walk to the shops which is about 5 mins and 10 mins to the harbour, you can sit and watch the boats. There are quite a few places you can visit.
You can catch the ferry from the harbour to Rock across the estuary. You can also walk along
The beach there and visit the little church in the middle of the golf course. John Betjamin is buried there. There are boats where you can see seals.
You can walk to the top of the hill on Padstow's side to the memorial and follow the coastal path and see the lifeboat station that you can go inside and visit.
Hire bikes and go on the Camel
Trail (following the river camel) to Wadebridge (5 miles) or to Bodmin and visit the jail on the bike. You can walk this also.
There are loads of attractions and the info centre on the harbour will have all the info. I'm not too familiar with the buses but local attractions are book able from the info centre.
