I found the great mall to be far better on the deals than the 'premium outlets'. I also suggest you drive down and avoid the BART as the station is quite a distance from the mall and the bus takes an hour to reach the mall from the station.

yes you can take a Bart to Fremont and catch the bus.

Definitely Great Mall has some better features.

We did not travel by BART but by our own car. On the day we visited, deals were better. It was worth visiting and enjoying the shopping.
