Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Marina Hotel Questions & Answers

Point Pleasant, New Jersey

We would like to stay at your hotel August 31- Sept 1, 2014....we're senior citizens. What are any costs for your shuttle transportation to and from the Cruise Port (Princess) and for the storage of our car on your property for a 6 day cruise?

Dates are September 1 - September 6. Thank you!

Greetings,

We look forward to having you as our guest in a few weeks! The cost for the shuttle to the cruise port is $6 per person. If you park your car at the hotel more than 7 days, it is $10 per night. But I would be happy to extend this rate to you for the 6 nights you will have your car with us.

Please contact me and I will make the necessary arrangements.

We also flew so I don't know about parking but we opted for taxi which was $10 for two adults total, cheaper in the long run than the $6pp shuttle. And you don't have to wait for shuttle to fill up and then potentially be sardined in.

This is a great hotel with lots of options for food nearby. We'd stay here again.

We used the shuttle which was about 6 dollars per person and very convenient and took about 10 minutes. There is a parking garage adjacent to the hotel but as we flew to Lauderdale I do not know the rates. Ask the hotel. I believe there are also lots near the boats.

Hi! I stayed at this hotel in Feb 2014 prior to a cruise. I am not sure of the parking costs because we flew in, but the shuttle is $6.00pp. They usually open the shuttle booth around 9am in the morning, and people begin lining up to purchase their seats on the various shuttle times. If you want to leave for the pier on the first shuttle (around 10:30) get there first in line to get a seat on that shuttle because the shuttles are small, holding only around 6-8 people--unless that has changed since Feb. I did love this hotel, and we had a room that we saw all the ships in port. There are several chain style restaurants nearby, and some that are not chains. There is even a culinary school across the street that serves excellent food (ate there with our 2 daughters several years ago prior to a cruise). I hope this was helpful. And have a great cruise! We LOVE to cruise!!

Hi, We also took the shuttle from the hotel, very quick, do believe it was about $6.00. We enjoyed the hotel, the service and the easy availability to access the water taxis and enjoy the Florida waterways.

The cost of the shuttle was minimal. We have parked our car at the cruise terminal in Fort Lauderdale and it was not outrageous. When we took the shuttle, we did not have a car. A different time we drove to Florida and to the cruise port. The hotel is great.
