We have a reservation for 9:45 pm but wish to go earlier for drinks and view fireworks. For those who have had similar experience how likely will it be they will allow us about earlier. It's on a Monday in October.
Should not be an issue
I don't think you will have any trouble with this.
If you have a reservation I do believe they will allow you in early to have drinks and watch fireworks. Check the Disney web site and it should confirm this fir you
October is a low crowd time. I would definitely go earlier that day, maybe late afternoon. (Don't call, go in person). Let them know you would like to do an earlier dinner reservation for fireworks. (you can watch fireworks from an observation area privately reserved for diners before or after dinner.) Often they have cancellation and you can get in earlier.
As far as cocktails in the bar, it's a great area with appetizers as well, but it is first come first serve.
Also, be aware of the dress code for this restaurant. Look at the Disney website for details.
Bar area is first come first serve and a very popular spot especially for fireworks . Just make sure to go very very ahead of time
While I can't speak to this from personal experience, while waiting to go up in the elevator I have overheard diners doing exactly what you wish to do. I have also almost always observed the cocktail area to have availability. Just check-in and let them know your plan and my guess is that there will be no problem. As someone else posted, you can also call to confirm.
