My name is Dr. Aaron T. Moyana and I live in Birmingham, Alabama and have traveled to shop at the DeKalb store since the 70's. I am wondering if it is possible to expand to Alabama. I am a retired educational administrator, and we do have an extensive international community from all over the world and your products could be a hit here in Alabama. I live just off I-20 and it takes about 2 hours to Atlanta. Your expansion could involved ordering and distributing products to the selected location and reporting on a daily basis sol products and earned profits. The mayor of the city, Leeds, is my neighbor and could be intrumental in getting this done with little risk to your investment. I can be reached at: my e-mail and 205 337-2164. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
one of the folks above gave you some contact info.
I'm just a frequent shopper, not in charge of anyone or anything.
The only nugget of information I have is that the Farmer's Market is significantly expanding its current (considerable) size. While I am sure that the expansion will have every manager and department head involved at some point, I don't know their timelines. This may be the worst or perfect time to approach the owner. Good luck!
Robert Blazer is the owner
The Dekalb Farmers Market began on June 2nd, 1977 as a small 7,500 sq. ft. produce stand in Decatur, Georgia. Since that beginning, we have grown into a true world market. The original founder and owner of the market, Robert Blazer, is still in charge of operations along with his wife, Barbara and son, Daniel.
