Why is there a $25.00 fee to cancel within 14 days, what are your details of a processing fee? You really charge customers for a cancellation do you not feel as though that is extremely costly, I can understand the fee being charged within the 14 day period but if you cancel a month or longer prior to arrival then why would you ever charge a fee, and why? And can you direct me to where it states this fee prior to booking as I did not see it anywhere.
Cancelation fees are extremely common, especially at smaller, independent inns and B&Bs. They help cover credit card fees incurred in issuing the deposit refund, time spent processing the cancelation, and lost revenue opportunity. Our policy is clearly stated on the "check availability" section of our website and on our confirmation letter. If you tell me how you booked your reservation, I can direct you to where the policy is detailed. Please feel free to email me at clarson@newageninn
