We live in San Diego and don't get a chance to get to Whitefish that often. We are still talking about the goat cheese cake...one of the best desserts ever? Any chance we could have the recipe?
We love your restaurant...the food is so well prepared and interesting. I wish you were closer.
Just to clarify, I have nothing to do with Trip Advisor nor did they feed me a question. I asked for th recipe through TA as I thought I would be likely to get an answer. I appreciate Jason responding because he and I actually had a conversation about his unique preparation. His version uses less sugar than other "off the shelf recipes" and he uses Aleppo pepper...adds just that special touch that elevates this dessert.
3# goat cheese
3 eggs + 3 egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup creme fraiche or sour cream
1 t Aleppo pepper
Mix eggs and sugar. Add Aleppo, salt, and goat cheese. Mix well. Bake @225 in a water bath. We use a silicone form but a traditional springform will work fine. Time to bake will vary.

Even though this question is meant for the restaurant, I get the impression that questions are simply passed on to reviewers by TripAdvisor for responses. I would suggest Googling the restaurant and either emailing or telephoning them directly. If that doesn't work, knock-off recipes are often available online. Good luck.
I ate there in August and September as well. How did I miss THAT dessert?!
