Is this in walking distance of Hahndorf please? I am on a bus tour so have no transport. Cheers Chris.
It's quite a walk but a short taxi drive.. I'd suggest taking a taxi as it won't be too expensive and shame to miss it. The Handorf tourist office is on the main street too and they should be able to help you with a taxi.
Hi there. I decided to walk and it took approximately 20 minutes from the centre of Hahndorf. Other people I met there caught a taxi. It was a nice walk there even though it was raining slightly. Somebody kindly drove me back into town.
As you see from the replies it is quite a walk and a taxi might be the best bet. It is definitely worth the visit.
It took me walking to cedars around 2 hours, but I was not pushing myself. check the times to be shown inside. I think the time was 11 and 2 but check with the Hahndorf tranvel centre
Yes, taxi would be the best option.
Yes it is just a little way out of town. As I'm not sure which direction your tour bus will come into town I can't say how far you will have to walk. The turn off to the Cedars is on the left if coming from Adelaide. I do agree with the previous answers that taking a taxi is the best and quickest way to get there. Hope this helps.
A long walk but too good to miss ,a taxi from the main st in Hahndorf would be the way to go.The tourist office are very helpful and could probably organise one for you.
I agree with the previous 2 answers- approx. 20-25 minute walk from Hahndorf main street, taxi a good idea and not too expensive.
