Can we park our car and check in before a 2:00 Dr appointment at Cleveland Clinic taking the shuttle on campus? Do you have any rooms with a recliners?
I was a patient at CC. Getting around is very simple. Their directions are very incredible and if you are reasonably active (can walk in a mall), getting around is super easy. I know the maps seem like maybe it all is a reach, in reality, it is all very walkable. And Tudor Arms location is very, very smart.
Not sure about recliners. We have stayed 3x. Last time, we had a suite type room (same price) on 11th floor with a couch.
Just ask. Very, very great service.
I love this hotel and their staff. Again, if you can walk a mall, walking to and from is easy.. Easier than waiting on shuttles.
I do not recall seeing a recliner. When we went for a wedding, I know several guests checked in before the 2:00 ceremony so it is possible to get early check in. The shuttle is very convenient! Check at front desk for pick up times.
I never heard of anyone saying that they had recliners. The hotel shuttle leaves the hotel on the hour. Parking is not a problem. The cost for parking and the cost for valet parking is the same.Take the Tudor Arms phone number with you to Cleveland Clinic. Call them from Cleveland Clinic if you have a question about when their shuttle is arriving to pick you up.
If they have rooms ready, they will let you check in when you arrive. If they don't have a room, they will let you leave your luggage with them and park your car. The hotel has its own shuttle which will take you to the Cleveland Clinic. Call the hotel to find out about timing of the shuttle. I don't know about recliners. There wasn't one in our room.
You can peobably work out check-in if they have room available. CC shuttle doesnt go to Tudor Arms or at least didn't when we were last there. But hotel has a shuttle that goes to CC. I have been in 4 maybe five different rooms and I don't recall a recliner.
I am sure you can park, and take the shuttle, although I doubt your room would be ready for you to check in. They stay pretty booked. Also, be aware that parking is valet only, and allow a little extra time for that. The clinic shuttle does not run directly to this hotel, and the hotel provides their shuttle service that only runs about every 30 minutes, and also may take a little extra time. It starts early, around 6am, but ends around 10pm, so if you have someone who is admitted unexpectedly (the way we did from the office appointment) make sure you keep this in mind. (The police were nice enough to bring us back.) The clinic shuttle does pick up and drop off across the street. The hotel is lovely, but also be aware that their are big differences between some rooms. If you would like a refrigerator, or a bath tub, make sure you specifically request those. Not all rooms have either. In retrospect, we enjoyed the stay, but the Holiday Inn Cleveland Clinic was more convenient.
