Have requested samples of restaurant menus to no avail. Can anyone please help?
The restaurant at Scotch Corner does not seem to be run by Holiday Inn - so there seems to be no mention of it on their website. Actually it is called Fratello's and you can download their menu easily from their website (Google: Fratello's Scotch Corner). As you'd expect from the name - its Italian, and offers Pizzas, Risottos and Pasta dishes. Although I didn't eat there, I understand that there is a wide and typically Italian menu and I'm told that the food is good.
Also on site is a bar offering typical bar fayre. I'm not sure about an online menu but I did eat here. I had, for example, a chicken and ham pie, veg and chips. The main thing that sticks in my mind was that the portion size was very generous. The food itself wasn't bad either!
When we stayed at the hotel we just ate from the bar menu we didn't actually eat in the Italian restaurant that's attached to the hotel although I'm sure you can download the menu from the net just type in the restaurants name, we ordered loaded nachos to start which was quite a big portion between two people & we both had burger meals which were lovely & plentiful and good value for money imo, we were too full to order a desert so can't comment on deserts lol also you can opt to charge meals to your room or pay there & then it's entirely up to you. Hope you enjoy your stay.
