This will be my first experience to a B&B and I'm doing it alone. My goal is to escape my busy-complicated life and regain my peace of mind. I'm not a morning person (although I do surprise myself at times) and my question is, would it be rude if I missed the breakfast due to sleeping in?
After reading all the reviews, I am hoping that a massage session and a weekend here would help revitalize me.Is there a spa nearby?
Wendy is very accomodating about breakfast, and it usually lasts until 9am. She will do anything she can, within reason, to make your stay as wonderful as possible. The B &B is located in a very small town, around 3000, and it is very relazing! If you go around late spring, early summer, Wendy's garden is a wonderful place to sit outside and enjoy the peace and quiet, as well as the scenery. We've never done a massage but like the other lady replied I believe you can order a massage in your room. I would also recommend getting out and seeing the area. It is a truly beautiful area that in itself allows you to escape from your busy life and relax. Hope this helps!
I don't think it would be rude to skip breakfast, Wendy is very accommodating , just let her know. I must say though that her breakfasts are outstanding. As to the massage, I think you can make arrangements to have one in your room. I love staying at the Ascot and there are great restaurants within walking distance. Enjoy!
