How often do trains pass through during the night at the end of July? We are camping there :-)
About every 15 - 30 minutes.
There are coal trains throughout the day and night in addition to scheduled passenger trains. In Feb., staying at Chuckanut Manor (great for meals, I highly rec) in Bow, the spacious apartment became less desirable as multiple freight trains rumbled by 75 feet away, about 3 or 4 each night, every few hours.
Have not camped at Larrabee, but proximity to tracks is likely much greater. Hiking there you hear the trains, but not loud.
Enjoy your trip. Robin
