Jordan, if the hotel doesn't allow pets, why was there a dog barking on the 18th floor during the weekend of August 18th? it could not have been a service animal, as they are trained not to do that, and wouldn't have been left alone in the room anyway
I apologize that there was a barking dog nearby during your recent visit. One of two things happened: either a guest snuck a dog into the hotel undetected (the most likely answer), or the dog was in fact a registered service animal. I will follow up with my front office leadership team to determine if we had a service animal in the hotel recently.
I was just curious. I felt kind of bad for the dog. I know the sound of an anxious bark (a dog left alone in a strange place), so I really didn't think it was a service animal. we heard the dog on both Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th, going away from the service corridor in the direction from room 1810 toward 1808 (our rooms). It was coming from further away from the elevators.
