I can't see any reviews that mention what the intensity of this safari is. Are we all plotting along in some congo line for 2 hours at 10 knots? Or do we get to play around and have some fun with the jet skiis? Thanks.
Bula Saba R, the jet skis can travel at speeds up to 34 mph and start with a safety briefing so that you recognise the hand signals of the guides. There are areas where you are required to travel in single-file (i.e. past reef or hazards) and there is open water 'go wide' areas where you can enjoy a fast or mild ride. The word plotting-along or plodding-along is not a usual description for this activity. There are some basic rules for riding the jet ski that are for your safety and for best-practice. For example we do not allow 360-spins that can tip the jet ski and potentially cause you harm. Overall we offer an exciting and adventurous ride. If you want more detail please email the team from 'contact us' on the website and they can send you a video link for your further interest. We hope to see you on your Fiji holiday, and if you have further questions please do not hesitate to ask. Vinaka and regards, Liza at Adrenalin Fiji
Sorry, only just saw this. Plenty of playing about
Just to reassure you, you definitely get to go fast in the open water, we were in a group with confident and not so confident riders and we all got to go as fast or as slow as we wanted (or the jet skis could go). My husband and I were racing each other for awhile and also jumping through the wake from boats and other riders so definitely a lot of fun!
