Well from reading the reviews, just how the stay at your location ? I'm seeing bad reviews and mold and bugs. And I'm not parking anywhere except close to my room. Speaking of the Room have they been updated or do they smell as the reviews? And are the beds hard as I see.
trip advisor has become a tool for people to threaten hotel owners if they dont get their way. people have been trying to get free rooms in exchange for good reviews.
the rooms are fine. mine smelled ok. there's no bar at the pool. bring a coolor. my room had no view of the ocean. i paid maybe 50 bucks for the night
Sorry to respond so late. My bed was very comfortable and I look for that where I stay. There are several beachfront properties in Daytona that look like resorts but have horrible beds. I did not see any bugs at all. Nor was my room moldy or smelly. The A/C was in good condition and kept the place cold. My son and cousin recently went to this property and they, too, liked it. Maybe there are some rooms that ARE older? I stayed upstairs, so maybe those rooms are more recent and bigs less likely to come in?
I'm not going back!
I'm re-reading some other reviews on this hotel, particularly the good ones. I'm convinced they are pure b.s. (the good ones I mean.) The rooms are old, not updated, peeled paint, exposed wires, junk laying around property, pool tiles falling off, and bugs! That's a fact, the glowing reviews are laughable. I don't believe it was a bed bug, but still, if it's being cleaned daily and if they spray, why bugs? I saw 2 immediately. If you can swing it there are plenty of retro hotels not ran like a filthy 7-11 to stay in, you're just going to pay more.
