Hi there, as you have already noticed I am based at the Mexican Caribbean a beautifull place full of color and life, wonderfull landscapes, beaches and the extraordinary blue caribbean sea, such a paradise... I was born in Mexico City , i used to live in downtown, pretty close to the place in wich the archaeologist Eduardo Matos Moctezuma, found the ruins of the Main Temple of the Aztec Civilization. I am a Story Teller, i always knew it, and when someone listen to my words i feel so glad, because i can bring back to the life the magic of the aztecs, the mayas, the ancient cities that grew up in the middle of the jungle, and i can stil hear the roar of the jaguar, the song of the quetzal and i give a new dimention to the motives of the heroes that created our country and left a legacy that now we call History.

Take your time when visiting this lake as there is plenty to see. It's a great place that still has lots of the folklore and cultural characteristics of Ajijic, so be sure to go for a long walk here to enjoy the views, food, live music, and the atmosphere. You'll definitely miss it when you leave!

If you visit El Chololo, don't be shy but do what locals do after a night out — order tequila and the 'birria,' (spicy stew) but be careful with the salsa — the broth of the birria is already spicy and if you are not familiar with such heat, you are going to have a bad time!
This is a well-kept archaeological and cultural site, that will make you wonder and think about the past cultures that inhabited the area.
