Our favorite hangout on the island. Great staff that works their tails off to make sure you are well taken care of. The margaritas are bigger than your head and very flavorful. The food is also very good here.
Excellent in town place for an inexpensive very fresh meal. Eusebio the owner is a great guy to chat with while waiting for an enormous burrito.
This operator runs 2 basic tours that are excellent. The 5-6 hour day time excursion and the sunset sail. Both are tremendous bangs for you dollar. The crew goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. Going out on this boat is a must do for us each trip at least once. Many other excursions offer "sail" excursions but don't actually sail like this one does.
Probably the best tasting pastor I have had on the island. The pastor pizza is fantastic and priced unbelievably well.
Awesome people watching hangout right on the main drag. Sit back with a large margarita and enjoy the amazing water views and vibrant town views.
This has been my dive operator of choice for my last 6 years of traveling to Cozumel. They are a boutique op that will keep, clean and setup your gear for you each day. Christi's crew, especially Pedro are phenomenal.
We have loved this place for years, from its origins as a small empanada take out place to its current invention as a full service restaurant. While the empanadas are still excellent, their grilled items are tough to beat. The fresh catch of the day is always grilled to perfection and pairs with Rene's excellent selection of wines very well.
A very good new restaurant just south of the square. The food is excellent, fresh and well priced, especially for the main tourist area.
We have only eaten breakfast here and have enjoyed it each time we have had it. The portions are nicely sized and prices are appropriate for ocean front dining.
A must stop for us each trip (usually twice). We really enjoy their sandwiches, the Cuban and the Pork Leg are fantastic. All the drinks here pack quite the punch as well. The owner Alex is very friendly and full of interesting stories.
When you are craving a steak this is the place. I have been stuck on ordering the Arracherra steak each time lately and it never disappoints. The queso fundido as an appetizer is the best on the island, since it is cooked on their grill it caramelizes fantastically well.
Kinta is a well done fusion restaurant that is very different from other places on Cozumel. The menu is always very innovative and the food is fresh presented in a upscale style. A beautiful garden setting accompanies the food well and makes for a great dinning experience.
Cheap eats is the name of the game here. They serve very good tacos here, with the Pasor and arracherra being the standouts.
A great place to visit during happy hour. The two for one pricing makes this place worth visiting. The water view are magnificent, especially at sunset. They have good live music many evenings that add to the ambiance nicely.
A interesting place to spend some time during a rainy day.
Located at the southern end of the island, this is a must visit. Make sure to stop on your way to the lighthouse and see the crocodiles in the lagoon. The beaches are amazing down here and the water is impossible to describe.
Our favorite beach on the east side of the island. This is one of the largest stretches of beach on the island. Set up near the life guards. They are good to talk to about the water conditions as this area can be quite treacherous in certain conditions.
